The construction of trains for the St. Petersburg metro will engage the Czechs.
On November 6, within the framework of the visit of the Russian delegation from St. Petersburg to the Czech Republic, a meeting was held with the management of Škoda Transportation, within which an agreement on the construction and supply of trains for the St. Petersburg metro was signed.
According to official sources, Governor V.I. Matvienko and Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Mirek Topolanek. IN AND. Matvienko noted that projects of this kind are an example of fruitful cooperation at the regional level and a reliable foundation for the development of relations between countries. The Czechs, in turn, promised to fulfill their obligations within a strictly agreed time frame and complete the construction of trains by the end of 2010.
