According to the information of the prosecutor's office, this service company has made communal fees for tenants subordinate to apartment buildings, while rescuing about eight million rubles.
In the utility bills of residents of apartment buildings, there was a column “cleaning fee and sanitary cleaning of the adjacent territory”. At the same time, the district budget of Zhilkomservice No. 1 of the Vasileostrovsky District, LLC provided grants in the amount of 11,800,000 rubles for these services.
Supervisors carried out a thorough check of the use of funds by the enterprise, which were allocated by the district budget, as a result of the check a number of violations were revealed.
According to the prosecutor's office, from the first to the third quarter of 2011, the company illegally accrued over 8 million rubles to residents of the MKD.
As a result of the violations found, the materials of the case were transferred to the investigative department. A criminal case was initiated on the facts of abuse of official powers, this violation, according to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, provides for a sentence of up to four years in prison.
In order to prevent similar illegal actions by other public utilities, law enforcement agencies of St. Petersburg, searches were conducted in other organizations of the utility complex, including contracting organizations and management companies of all districts of the city, as well as state and municipal housing and utilities organizations.
